Thank you for sharing. I am at the end of “shedding” and excited to see where I go. Life is a journey and too precious to not be happy. Sometimes it takes complete darkness for us to see the light. ❤️❤️
Paul. Yes. The darkness is where everything begins. It’s shifted my relationship to pain. Seeing pain as a gift. It’s where the best things are birthed. Cheering you on as you continue in your light 🤍
I am in this exact same season right now. Literally everything I KEEP trying to build lasts for a while then it gets burned down. God ultimately brings me back around to his original idea of me. Then I’m off to pursue that version of me again after years of being distracted by social media, likes, building a brand, or other entrepreneurial endeavors. A few years ago, I was crying out to God telling him all of the things that I wanted which included a successful coaching business, music career, and marriage. He simply said “You have to become, first.” This post hits home! Thank you for sharing this thought with us 🙌🏾
This feels right! Said another way, if we aren’t growing as a person in a way that aligns with us, then all other types of growth are irrelevant. If we are, then they’re irrelevant as well because we feel good either way. So the best life strategy is to focus on becoming, or growing in alignment with ourselves.
One way or the other we are going to feel some pain, discomfort, and tests of faith. When it comes to inputs vs. outcomes, pick which side you'd rather have the frustration on. I'd rather expend the necessary energy building it the way I want instead of expending energy trying to keep everything from falling apart and starting all over. This is what I constantly remind myself of when things are not progressing at the pace I would like.

Yes! Becoming is all there is. We’re only promised this day. The day we’re living in. Become today. And tomorrow. Don’t worry about the outcome.
This.

Yes. This.
Appreciate your honest, relatable and, as always, vulnerable perspective, Maya!

We >here<
Like, scarily so. I've echoed some of these same thoughts almost verbatim .
